ACTION!

ABOUT LILY PRATER

Lily Prater has been telling stories through film since the 8th grade—what began with high school football hype videos quickly evolved into a lifelong passion for creative media. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from The University of Alabama, majoring in Creative Media and minoring in Creative Writing, where she began developing a strong foundation in visual storytelling, editing, and strategic messaging.

As a high school senior, Lily received an honorary mention from the NATA Awards, worked as a wedding cinematographer, and was selected for an internship with Fish4Him Productions. But her creative journey didn’t stop there.

Graduating during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Lily recognized the urgent need for marketing and media support across small businesses, startups, and nonprofits. Rather than wait for opportunities to come her way, she launched Pecan Grove Creative Agency, a venture aimed at helping mission-driven organizations tell their stories and grow their impact.

Today, Lily serves as the Director of Brand Strategies at Junior Achievement of Georgia, a 4-time Nobel Peace Prize nominee. She leads all external communications and social media strategy—helping grow awareness, deepen community engagement, support fundraising efforts, and elevate the organization’s reach across Georgia. She proudly describes her role as a “professional storyteller,” turning JA’s meaningful work into powerful, shareable moments that inspire action.
